I work in IT, and on my work days I spend 12 hours at the datacenter, so obviously I spend a LOT of time "peering into a computer screen," and I've noticed this effect myself. Seeing it in writing like that is a confirmation to me how important it is to make time every day to get outside, whether it be for fishing, walking the dog in the woods, weeding the garden, whatever.

This part I find very true "The more information we juggle, the less able we are to make sense of it all".

Ever look something up and then it has a link to something related, so you click on it, now you have another window open and of course it has links to some more related material. By the time your done you have like five windows open and all the info starts to run together.

Then again it could just be that my pea sized liberal brain can't handle that much info.
