Kentucky River

Has anyone been fishing the river? I have seen it from the interstate around Lex and the color looks good, just wondering if bass were biting yet

I fished the river last Wed. Fished the pool in Frankfort. There was a bass tourney going on with 30 or so boats out. Fishing was slow, but caught a couple of nice keepers. Don't know what won the tourney. All the traffic may have slowed the action. The river in Frankfort has still not fully recovered from the big Kill from the wild turkey spill. The strippers that were stocked are no longer in there, havent caught a walleye or sauger in that section in years. Still plenty of cats and bass though. As far as the bite goes on the river, it's not going to get any better than it is right now.
