well mine would have to be in 04 jst purchased my boat 2nd time out was on the ohioriver i hit a 2x6 that was floating jst under the surface it thru my son out of his seat he ended up in the front of the boat i hit the dashboard far as damage was missing a fin on the lower unit! man i was pissed!

Oh I forgot about the sandbar we hit that tore the motor off the transom while fishing some flats in the Indian River aroung Titusville, FL. I was up front and we cut the channel to short and the next thing I know I feel the sound of the bottom getting hit and the motor screaming as it was in the air spinning that prop like a chainsaw. When it was over the motor laid in a foot of water dead and full of salt water.

Tree about 40 feet long. Partially tore the motor off the boat. By myself and about 3AM in Fishing Creek.

know a guy who was running wide open on rough once and out of nowhere he came to a stop and teh engine rpm shot sky high... tilted up the motor to find that the cotter pin and nut gave up and teh prop was just missing...

years before i was born my Dad and my namesake (his best friend) were in a crosby sled night fishing on barren. they were coming back in and saw teh light pole at beaver creek ramp and headed straight for it... just to run it aground on the shallow point... luckily it had a brass prop they bent nack in place and kept on a goin...

my scariest moment in a boat came on a busy weekend at Barren. We were staying at baileys point and had been towing a tube all day when we ran it out of gas coming into the cove...so i dropped off dad to go get the truck to oull the boat out and i proceeded to go around teh point to the ramp by trolling motor... i was hugging the rocks pretty close and out of nowhere came this big 30+ foot cabin cruiser just slow enough to not be on plane making wake like a freakin cruise liner... i quickly turned to hit the wake head on and nearly swamped the boat. at teh tops of teh wake the trolling motor was completely out of teh water by about 12" and at teh bottoms the water was slightly coming over the nose and getting teh carpet wet... if i had taken it broadside, we would have been calling the insurance company...

Hit a 55 gallon drum on Herrington that was barely under water one night. We glanced it since we seen it last second. Also on Herrington Uncle and I was running back to the ramp after fishing a tournament and rounded a bend in the river a bit before the hogs back right after the bridge and almost hit an entire dock that had broken away. That scared the crap out of me.

My trailer when ramping out. Bent over to pickup my cigarettes, and my jacket pocket hooked the throttle. It was 3 in the morning, Jamestown Ramp. Loud bang as I hit the trailer tree. Motor sputtered and stopped. I cleared the 4 foot high console and landed face down on the front deck. Then the pain shot up my right thigh, and as I rolled over to take the weight off, I found the Redfin that was on my spinning rod in the bow storage rod holder stuck thru my jeans. Removed the barbs from 2 treble hooks from my thigh, rolled over on my back, and just laid there, lit up a cigarette, and was glad I landed with in arm's distance of my beer cooler. Gave myself a 20 munute rest, then went ahead and ramped out.

Lesson learned:
1. Smoking is dangerous.
2. Redfins don't like me
3. Always store rods on the rear of the boat when ramping out.
4. Always store the beer cooler on the front deck when ramping out.
5. Never stand between the truck and my trailer when I ramp out.
6. Visit Jamestown early in the morning, watch for a pontoon, and be prepared to call 911.

Looking for manta rays outside Port Canaveral while cobia fishing. The Captain went to far north and the boat bottomed out on a shoal. We were about 10 miles out. Had to wait for the tide to turn around so we could float free. Totaled the prop and lower unit on one outboard and severly damaged the other outboard.
