Mr. Stewart is a whole lot older than me too. I was trying to, for once in my life, some some respect to my elder. But I guess if he 's ok with me calling him Dave I will, dont want the old fart mad at me. If I ever get to over there he will be the one I will look up.

Re: question for dave stewart about pro fishermen

hey Dave... thanks for sharing your perspective and the recent experience you had with the Elite pro who wanted to fish that spot you were sitting on. It's a great example of showing some restraint and respect on both sides.

I have a son on the UK bass team, which happens to be coached by Dave. Obviously, one of the benefits of being on the team is learning from their coach how to eliminate water and present the bait in a way that will fool some fish. However, if the coach stops there, he's not teaching everything these young anglers need to learn. Being respectful on the water is a big problem on our pressured waters, as we all have experienced. I'm sure one of the things he's teaching these kids is how to deal with people coming in on them, and how to not to be part of the problem. Keep up the good work, Dave.

    Thanks,

    John
