    Transocean owned the rig, 100%. BP ran it. I'm pretty much positive Chevron had no interest in it (could be wrong), but they do run a lot of rigs in the Gulf. What you've heard may be the talk recently about BP and Chevron's safety records on those rigs.     A lot of people are boycotting BP now, but I don't think I'll do that (not that I go there much to begin with), just because whatever other company you buy from is going to be just as bad.

    I prolly buy gas from BP once a year if that since they can be across the street from speedway and sell gas 3-7 cents more per gallon. If i'm travelling and have to buy gas from them cause Im almost out I'll do it but it's never by design.

    I heard it on CNN News. Don't know if it's fact or speculation.
