TVA Water Release Question

Is there a way to tell with certainty when the TVA changes the flow while on the water? I have the phone number and internet access, but sometimes they do not match. For example, today on barkley average cfs says 9000 but predicted data says 4 or more generators. The phone access says one generator till midnight. Thanks for any insight.

I use mph on my gps to tell or pay close attention to the bank looking for where the water marks are or where they have been. My alttitued readings keep bouncing between satellites making it diffacult for me to accuratly read. Therefore i rely on the old fashion way.
