barren ?

Heard from a very reliable source that it is due partly to the fact that the Corps did not purchase easements downstream. Last week Green River (Warren/Butler/Edmonson Co lines area) was still running high and muddy. Barren at the Hwy 185 (Richardsville RD) was up and muddy.

I would bet that they are letting it go just about as fast as they can. It is what it is.

I am wanting to take some kayaks out and explore some of the flooded bottoms over at the lake. Just making the best of it I guess.

There are some decent smallmouth to be caught down below the dam. The water being up allows you to get a bigger boat down there than normal. Fisheries bio thinks it will actually help the fishery too. There is a silver lining.
