Found scattered jumps again this weekend, most in the mouths of creeks or around the Nolin Estates islands. This weekend, all were apparently green fish as I didn't catch a single white bass. We did manage about 15 LM in two mornings...The kids and I caught some on rooster tails and I caught some better ones on the fluke. You are correct that you have to throw it right in the jump or "follow" them away.
I think the white bass are late this year or something because usually by now they are grouped up and I just haven't really seen it yet.
I think you wouldn't catch any whites anyway on the fluke...baits a little too big for most of the whites in Nolin as a 'big" one would be 12-13 inches usually. However, 3 years ago my Dad and I got into a school full of 16-17 inchers that was an absolute blast for about 2 hours one morning.
