My son and I fished Nolin Wednesday from about 1:30 pm til dark. Of course we spent most of the day just sweating with not much luck, didn't even see much baitfish activity. We checked main lake points from Wax to Moutadeer and while I did see plenty of fish on the sonar, none were biting.

Around 7:30 in the mouth of Cane Camp Branch area we were able to get on good section of them. I pulled out two 2 pounders and 3 pounder, and my son got two 2 pounders as well. This all happended from about 7:30 to 8:15 and then no luck after that.

I don't know if we just caught them in "transition" from deep to shallow or what. We were in about 20' of water at the time and there was plenty of surface activity going on around us. Deep diving cranks in white/char and sexy shad were what worked for us.
