I watched all 15 minutes and change of the video, and I found what she said very disturbing. But I don't think she's a kook OR a conspiracy theorist. On the contrary, it's very informative to hear from someone who's as much "on the front lines" as anyone, telling what's really going on. But what you interpret as a deliberate plot to destroy America, I see as a "perfect storm" of corporate greed and incompetent, even corrupt, bureaucracy. When she says BP, OSHA, EPA, all the rest, are in it together, I believe that, but what they're in it to do isn't to set out to deliberately destroy America, it's to cover each other's arses. If ya got time to listen what this woman has to say, ya might want to check it out. Things down there are as bad as I am trying to say.
Of course I'm sure most of you will say this woman is a gook or the favorite Conspiracy Theorist.

That said, you could make the point that in the end it doesn't matter. It's like if you decide to rob somebody, and in the process you accidentally kill them. It makes no difference that you didn't set out to kill them; you're still guilty of murder.

OK Pontooner, just where do you get your news from.I was just replying to the "Keep sukking that koolaid man" comment you made but yeah Faux New that serves up more sweet koolaid to the right everyday than there is oil gushing into the Gulf. Guess we just get our koolaid at different stores.
Have you seen anyone on here defending how the mess has been handled? Lots of these post have usually started off with legitimate gripes, concerns..... and then turn into mindless Obama bashing somewhere along the way for the most part.
AND if Fox news is so bad and not telling the truth, why do they outperform all other networks combined. WHY.
I really believe the other stations HATE pubs so much they are always on the offensive.......
Something else............Oreilly and Hannity have MORE libs on there shows than pubs.........I guess being FAIR and Balanced is what makes you not wanna watch it.

If I may put my two cents in again.
Limbaugh put libs to the front of the line when they in and just let them have at it.
When Katrina hit the Gulf coast they blamed Bush for blowing up the damns and for bringing Katrina to New Orleans.
When the WTC was hit they blamed Bush for that too. Also stating he was a cowboy going in too fast with guns blazing. Fact is Bush didn't go in until after Sadam refused to act properly on the 13 UN resolutions that were pasted. Not saying Bush was perfect, he made mistakes too but seriously now.
Obama has said from the get go he and his team have been on the ground since day one of this spill and they have been in control. Weird thing is though, he's been playing golf, on vacation and going to concerts. Not to mention the refusing of the help, not giving the go ahead for the burn off and now trying to shut down ALL drilling underwater. Really now, Obama can't be blamed for any of it?
Don't tell me you buy their "fair and balanced" hooey? They're just as conservative as CNN is liberal. Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with them being that way. Everybody has their own political viewpoint, including news organizations, and if there's is conservative, that's fine. But it makes me want to puke when they put a conservative slant on every story they cover, then bill themselves as "fair and balanced."OK Pontooner, just where do you get your news from.

For the response, absolutely. The buck stops with him, and he has a lot to answer for. I just object to seeing the blowout itself blamed on him, when it happened because of a pattern of behavior that's been going on for decades. If I may put my two cents in again.

Yea the do have a conservative slant on EVERY story.....but then thy have about a billion Liberal panel members or whatever to offer counterpoint.....you EVER see that on Rachel Madow, or Kieth Oberpuke....or ANY OTHER shot on CNN or MSNBC??Don't tell me you buy their "fair and balanced" hooey? My point was, yea, they are SLANTED, but they offer a counterpoint on every show. PROVE ME WRONG.

I completely AGREE...the blowout was caused by BP and ONLY BP. They have more safety violations than all other drilling companies combined.
BUT Obama owned the response and with that regard........he has dropped the ball, and probably caused irreparable damage to the gulf coast. Obama will be blamed FOREVER for that.

Well, this is strictly a matter of opinion, so I don't think either of us could ever "prove" the other wrong. Yes, I'll admit they do bring in people with different viewpoints, even though those people often seem to be hand-chosen for their inability to articulate their viewpoint clearly, and/or O'Reilly shouts them down before they have a chance to speak. I'm not saying nobody else does it; they do. But you don't see anybody but Fox doing that stuff and then coming back and bragging about how "fair and balanced" they are. They AREN'T.Yea the do have a conservative slant on EVERY story.....but then thy have about a billion Liberal panel members or whatever to offer counterpoint.....you EVER see that on Rachel Madow, or Kieth Oberpuke....or ANY OTHER shot on CNN or MSNBC??

What about the facts regarding ratings?? If Fox is SO BAD.......why to they beat the others combined in EVERY time slot.Well, this is strictly a matter of opinion, so I don't think either of us could ever "prove" the other wrong. Maybe because Robin is so SMOKIN' hot? I'm just sayin'... she could read the phone book and get ratings![]()
