Reports I've been getting it's been very slow with an occassional decent night thrown in. Full moon right now aught to get the crawfish spawning shallow so maybe it will pick up.

Reports I've been getting it's been very slow with an occassional decent night thrown in. Full moon right now aught to get the crawfish spawning shallow so maybe it will pick up.

Friday night, fished from 8 PM to 3 AM. Caught 3 smallmouths, one was a keeper, probably 3.5 pounds. Lost another decent fish at the boat. Fishing jigs and brush hogs, definitely was a slow night for us.
Friday night was a good night, 8 keeper smallmouth, largest about 19.5 inches. Had a good one on, but came unbuttoned. Lots and lots of fish, caught probably 30 smallmouth, but most were 14-15 inches. Sat night, the bite was tougher for us, we only had 3 keepers, 9.70 lbs I think, and didnt get a whole lot of bites. Lost one that I didnt see, that was a good fish, but it could have been a LM also. I have been fishing points on main lake, Jamestown to Beaver. Fishing a very light weight, 3/16 oz, texas rigged tube and craw.
