You can get these through BASS, and also several tackle shops now carry them but you can also use needles you get for shots, see if a local Dr or pharm will donate you some, do not know the best size but a little searching will produce an answer.
I've researched and found a 16 gauge is the best, and they recommend the hypodermics because of their sharpness
