Terrible accident on Monroe

Man, that's terrible. We almost got ran over by this behemoth of a cruiser, 30ft plus, million dollars plus. We were prefishing for the Riley tourny couple weeks ago and were going to Cutwright to register. As we idled pass the causeway, a CO boat sat close by watching everyone coming in. We heard a rumbling sound and turned around to find a wall of fiberglass approaching quickly. Remember the CO? he saw everything. What did he do? he moved out of the way so he wouldn't get run over too and acted like nothing had happened. This million dollar toy moved so fast thru the idle zone that by the time we got to the ramp he was already down by the point going into Pine Grove.

That is terrible news, it is a tragedy that people were killed instead of enjoying a day on the water. Big weekend coming up everybody stay alert and be careful with all the traffic – on the road and in the water.
