My favorite technique for the Stripers at Cumberland is late at night. Haven't been down there for a couple of years though. Can you still put in at the ramp at the Dam? (24 ft. pontoon) Is the water to low for this ramp? Thanks

They have completely redone the ramp at Halcombs since you were there. Large ramp, parking, and restroom facilities now. Ramp is several lanes wide and extends well into the water. I have seen larger boats that yours launch there.

just like Andrew said, but with the low water it about a 1/4 mi up the hill to park your truck mam "O" man what a hike!! fishing a club tournament Sat night caught a 10.5 Striper on a Carolina rig with a lizard on it, was reeling it in fast it got about 15ft from the boat and he nailed it, was disappointed it was not LM,SM,KY but it took line and was a great fight! good luck and be safe
