It's not illegal or against any current NCAA rules to manage the business affairs or the money of a player, as long as you aren't a certified NBA agent. Clifton became a certified agent at one point, but withdrew his agent status before he ever signed anyone...

Clifton isn't John Wall's agent. He may be a business manager, and may have negotiated the shoe deal, but that's not against any rules.

We've already been down this road haven't we?
