Blackberry Picking Time

You can pretty much bet that the berries will be ripe arount the 4th of July, sure nouf, they are!! Picked a few, just enough to go with some ice cream.

Brings back memories of my childhood, picking berries with my Mom!

Mmmm! And do you remember eating blackberry cobbler with a big scoop of ice cream on top? We have hybrid blackberries and raspberries growing at the back of our property, in a row like shrubbery. We got to them before the bears did and I now have three gallons in the freezer.
