Looking at a 86 or 87 mariner 115.... any known problems with them?

I had a 89 mariner 150 and it was a fine motor except for where mercury placed the trim motor. It was right at the water line and i had the boat for three years and replaced 2 trim motors. I dont know if the 115 is set up the same
