    Swimbaits

I was wondering if many people fished swimbaits during the summer months and are they very effective during this time. I was messing around the other day and I tied one on to see if they would come through grass very good and ended up catching a few small bass with it. I was suprised on how good they came through the grass.

I'm sold on them. I love them in grass and around wood. You can fish these like you would spinnerbaits, flukes, cranks and wake them on top. It's a very versatile bait.

See the above link. These Owner Beast hooks are awesome with the hollow belly swimbaits. Try the 4/0 weighted with the 4" baits and the 6/0 weighted with the 5 & 6" baits. These hooks fit the bait really well, and like Don said, they swim through the cover really well.
