can anyboy help me with barkley first time goin down i got the big worms and deep cranks but anything else would greatly help little brother and sister any spots will help you can send a p-m for any spots

Carolina Rig on ledges/depth changes with zoom baby brush hog in green pumpkin. dip brushhog tail in chartruese dip'n'glo (I think this is brand... that yellow garlic smelling stuff in small bottle that gets on your fingers and stays for days).

I have a tackle box full of useless lures, but I've fished barkley exclusively for 8 years and I use 4 lures: carolina rig described above, norman dd22 white with purple stripe, omega football head jig in pbj (tail is a zoom twin tail grub again greem pumpklin dipped in chartruese), a strike king spinner bait (black head, yellow eyes, white/gold skirt, gold willow blades). I've caught more fish on these handful of baits than I can think of.

And yes, I use these year after year after year... same thing over and over. Just this spring I purposefully ditched my tackle box and have one small box with all those lures mentioned above.

I've fished side-by-side with people and I keep catching fish while they throw useless junk. My favorite thing to do is when they tell me "You keep fishing that same stuff over and over" I say "yes, I do... fish on, get the net!"
