Help me break the code-digital lake maps

Got a Humminbird 581i with the GPS deal. I looked at the Navionics page, and what they seem to offer is a 1000 maps for a region that stretches clear to Maine and covers KY. Christmas! All I want is the Ohio River for 20 miles each way, Cumberland, Greene, Taylorsville, Nolin, Rough, and Barren

Does anybody know of any web site where you can go in and pay to just download single lakes or a more regional like by state set of lake maps. ?

Bob, I don't think you really need what you are asking for. My Garmin GPSMAP came preloaded with 5000 lakes all over the US and over 300 of them are very detailed. Anyhow, the point is that when I get to a lake or river and turn the unit on, it finds and shows exactly where I am (usally in the parking lot) and I can go from there. I have used it at Nolin, Barren, Rouigh, Green, Cedar, Dale, etc in KY as well as lakes in TN, and Michigan and have been very please with it. Just my thoughts,

    Grump,

Mine only came with humminbird Uni-map, just lake map line drawings, at this link, see page 31, ADD Maps section explains. Maybe I'm reading it wrong.

Was wondering if anybody with a "Bird" knew of any way to get maps other than buying an entire package of 3000 lakes over 12 states (I might used 8 lakes in 2 states)_
