Just found out yesterday that trilen and stren are made a the same place now. This came FROM the manger of fishing at bass pro in clarksville. I fish trilen xl but i'm going to try some stren 100% florcarbon clear/blue. I hope i hate it. It's $22.00 for 200 yards . Anybody tried it yet.

Yep. Old news. The company called Pure Fishing owns Berkley, Stren, Abu Garcia, Spiderwire, and some other notable fishing equipment. Their labs and test facilities are on a body of water called Spirit Lake.

Be very careful what knot you tie with the Stren fluoro or you will break off every time you set the hook......

Its not easy line to manage, I make the best of it but dont exactly like it.

Do some studying and you will find that flouro takes special knots! Is there a flouro that is flourecent?

Yes Stren has made for a year or two a flouro that is flourescent. It is not as good as my InvisX. This weekend I am fishing without flourescent. I don't need to "see" the hits but on dark nights I use it to see when it is get close to docks, shore, trees, etc. How do people manage the dark nights? Thanks so much for the help!!!
