Hello, im new here on this message board. I live near this lake and was wondering if any of you have ever fished it. I normally just fish for cats but if you have give me your reports!

Welcome to the board I to am from Lagrange as many here are, the lake is pretty good for most spieces just not great. I fish it mainly in the winter for bass when I need a bass fix, it is also one of the few small lakes stocked with yellow bass. I don't know if this helps or hurts the population of other spieces, over all a fair lake that probably has a couple good ones in it. If you prefer cats don't waist your time, head down 53 to 42 take a left go by the Wave3 tower and then your first right, that road runs into the Ohio river in Westport. Again welcome and good luck...Chuck
Do you know if they allow boats on this lake? I remember passing that lake years ago when going to fish the river at Westport and wondered if they allow boats. I have a solo canoe and a lake of that size relatively close for a quick trip would be nice...
kc
No, they do not allow boats on that lake...I wondered the same thing.
