Fishing is goood!

Had a terrific day fishing today with my buddy. I was fishing at a huge pond in my neiborhood on 393 in oldham county. Caught a total of 25 fish in 3 hours. ( 3-6)
I was just catfishing with raw chicken breast and caught something almost every cast pretty quickly. Fish ranged from 2-9lbs. 4-6 went for about 4+. Not bad for a pond. I was just sharing how well today was too me and if any of you had the same luck.

Wow, that sounds like an incredible day. I've heard that it is best to fish for catfish during the rain or after the rain? I don't remember which one. Does that apply to other fish like bass, bluegill, and crappie?

Brian i have always heard that also. But i also do think all fish feed after the rain, so therfore it would be better. This was my best fishing day ever, my closest one was 22 bass in one day when i was 9.

Wow 22 bass. And I was pleased with the three bass I caught today lol. Sounds like you know all the right places to fish. I first heard about it is good to fish after rain in the TV show River Monsters. I really enjoy that show.

I don't see how any angler couldn't like that show. The Goliath Tigerfish episode was one of my favorite episodes. That thing looked prehistoric!

Heck yeah. I wouldn't want to get the hook out of that mouth! I also liked the episode with the Giant River Stingrays in Thailand. Crazy how it started shootin out babies when he finally reeled it in!

Sure did. A lot of different types of catfish can get huge in certain environments. Ugly monsters. I hear they are shooting the third season right now, so that is good
