Well.....it was a very disappointing trip to the CR. The river itself looked great....just couldn't find the fish??? We tried everything and only managed a few little dinks. I'm starting to wonder if the long high water periods caused a dramatic rise in striper migration up stream, and all those stripers have gone CRAZY on the trout! I have heard that there are record numbers of stripers in the CR this year....and they are trout feeding machines! Oh well.......I've got UT to look forward to in two days!
