KY River fishable?

Thinking about fishing either pool 1, 2 or 3 on KY river this friday. With all the heavy rain will the river be too high and swift ??

KY River flow picked just a slight amount. Still looks good at Camp Nelson. Any slight increase in flow helps the fishing.

Fished pool #2 on friday. The river was up about 2 feet with some flow. We struggled to catch 2 small bass and a 5 lb flathead. Didn't catch a fish from 9:00 to 2:00. We fished shallow, deep, and up the creeks. Only fish that seemed active were Gar. Anyone else have any luck?

Hit pool 6 yesterday morning for 3 hours and had one small bass with a decent one that followed the crank to the boat and had a big bluegill on same crank. Otherwise VERY slow. Some flow but water color good. Tons of gar everywhere eating the tiny shad on the surface but nothing else eating them. Tried creeks, bluffs, mud and rock banks, below lock and dam, and stickups and nothing. Still better than working though.
