GPS is the worst thing that ever happened to some people. They honestly believe that if that screen says it's good they are good to go. I'll say it and I don't care who's feelings I may hurt.

If you run full blast at night using only a GPS to navigate you are a complete and total MORON!

Don't be so restrained...can't ya tell us how ya REALLY feel????

Saw the results of the accident later the the morning. Not pretty. How's your buddy doing? Nice boat got trashed, but nothing compared to the human factor. Hope he's doing as well as can be expected, considering how far up he went up the hill before hitting rocks the size of bales of hay. Update with his condition if you can.

Wanted to let everyone know these guys are fine. Hurt the boat obviously and some pride but they will be ok. Banged them up some but nothing permanent.
Could have been worse.

Good to hear. Tell him nothing bigger that a 15-ft Jonboat with a 9.9 HP from here on out. Wait till he's in a better mood before telling him though.
