You can throw it anytime but it is hard to throw that 30 foot leader that is needed to get down deep enough this time of year. Not to mention the increased chance of catching a jet ski, joy boater or tuber on the water. I have yet to see one of them brave enough to play in the water at Dale Hollow in December when it is a balmy 50 degree water temps.Originally Posted by roadrunner
