Can't you throw that FNF thing in 100 degree weather??????
You can throw it anytime but it is hard to throw that 30 foot leader that is needed to get down deep enough this time of year. Not to mention the increased chance of catching a jet ski, joy boater or tuber on the water. I have yet to see one of them brave enough to play in the water at Dale Hollow in December when it is a balmy 50 degree water temps.
I would like to nominate Elwood to head it up again. I think everything went great last year and I really enjoyed meeting new people and also the grab bags were great. I know it is early but maybe we can pin a post where people who are intrested can leave there name. Just a thought.

I second the nomination for Woody. I mean what can I say the guy knows how to put this stuff together. Woody if you need any help CATCHEMALL is there to help ya. I will help too.
you guys, need to enjoy summer. that old { Eskemo } weather will be here soon enough.![]()
Finally... somebody on this thread with some sense, lol. You guys can have those cold winter days, I'll take some summer time night fishing to get away from the jet skis, tubes, and idiots.
We honestly seen a kid on a jetski 2 winters ago in january riding around close to the marina at conely bottoms. It was cold adn this kid was out riding it around. And i too am looking forward to the FNF season coming up. I cant wait....You can throw it anytime but it is hard to throw that 30 foot leader that is needed to get down deep enough this time of year. I'd be very interested in doing it again this year.....it was ran great last year and i reall enjoyed it
I had a great time last year and will be there again if we do it. I will even pay attn to the time zone so I am not an hour early for dinner.
HOLD ON, NOW LET'S NOT RUSH IT??
I'm age 65 and HOLDING, let's just take our time and enjoy ALL the fishing seasons. Fall/Winter, ETC, and FNF will be here in due time.
Get off the couch, grab a box of jigs and hit the lakes (Dale or where ever) and "tease the smalliers) at night!....![]()
134 days left until December 1, 2010 and the FNF season will officially begin. 138 days left until the 28th Annual Horse Creek Billy Westmoreland Memorial Smallmouth Invitational that will be held at Horse Creek Marina December 4th and 5th. I am not going to say the relevance of this event for I will leave that to Catchemall but WE do plan on hanging another plaque on the wall right next to last years plaque and become 2 Time, I said 2 TIME, did I mention 2 TIME CHAMPS OF THIS EVENT!!!!
Got to go now and give my FNF rods a little love and attention
Elwood as much as I like the above statement there is one thing we need to change. This year you can catch the big fish on day one and I will get it on day two so we can take our pics with 4 plaques instead of three.
