Extended period of high water this spring zapped alot of the Eurasian milfoil. Same thing happened a couple of years ago. Is that what the other weed is, hydrilla? Started noticing it 2 years ago.

Fished Cave Run on Friday and the Hydrilla which is usually matted up to the surface by now was nowhere to be found. there were of course a few little patches here and there but for example Zilpo (The Flats) had almost no living Hydrilla whatso ever...I dunno whats happened but it looked like it had been sprayed but I dunno, it was very dissapointing as I was planning on working on my grass fishing but I am very concerned about where the weeds are?...Anyone know?

Yep the early high water did it. The lake was way above summer pool early and has been there since. You have to really look for the good weed beds now. Maybe here in a few months it will be up right before it starts dieing off?
