    Got this off BBC

    MEXICO IS ANGRY-

The shoe is on the other foot and the Mexicans from the State of Sonora,
Mexico doesn't like it. Can you believe the nerve of these people?
    It's almost funny.

The State of Sonora is angry at the influx of Mexicans into Mexico. Nine
state legislators from the Mexican State of Sonora traveled to Tucson to
complain about Arizona 's new employer crackdown on illegals from
Mexico. It seems that many Mexican illegals are returning to their
hometowns and the officials in the Sonora state government are ticked off.

A delegation of nine state legislators from Sonora was in Tucson on
Tuesday to state that Arizona 's new Employer Sanctions Law will have a
devastating effect on the Mexican state. At a news conference, the
legislators said that Sonora, - Arizona's southern neighbor, - made up
of mostly small towns, - cannot handle the demand for housing, jobs and
schools that it will face as Mexican workers return to their hometowns
from the USA without jobs or money.

The Arizona law, which took effect Jan. 1, punishes Arizona employers
who knowingly hire individuals without valid legal documents to work in
the United States. Penalties include suspension of, or loss of, their
    business license.

The Mexican legislators are angry because their own citizens are
returning to their hometowns, placing a burden on THEIR state
government. 'How can Arizona pass a law like this?' asked Mexican Rep
    Leticia Amparano-Gamez, who represents Nogales.

'There is not one person living in Sonora who does not have a friend or
relative working in Arizona ,' she said, speaking in Spanish. 'Mexico is
not prepared for this, for the tremendous problems it will face as more
and more Mexicans working in Arizona and who were sending money to their
families return to their home-towns in Sonora without jobs,' she said.
'We are one family, socially and economically,' she said of the people
    of Sonora and Arizona.

    Wrong!

The United States is a sovereign nation, not a subsidiary of Mexico, and
its taxpayers are not responsible for the welfare of Mexico 's citizens.

It's time for the Mexican government, and its citizens, to stop feeding
parasitically off the United States and to start taking care of
    its/their own needs.

Too bad that other states within the USA don't pass a law just like that
    passed by Arizona.

Maybe that's the answer, since our own Congress will do nothing!

New Immigration Laws: Read to the bottom or you will miss the message...

    1. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools.
    * * * * * * * *
    2. All ballots will be in this nation's language..

stamps, no health care, or other government assistance programs. Any
    burden will be deported.

least equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage.
    * * * * * * * *
    8. If foreigners come here and buy land... options will be restricted.
Certain parcels including waterfront property are reserved for citizens
    naturally born into this country.
    * * * * * * * *
    9. Foreigners may have no protests; no demonstrations, no waving of a
foreign flag, no political organizing, no bad-mouthing our president or
his policies. These will lead to deportation.

    10. If you do come to this country illegally, you will be actively
hunted &, when caught, sent to jail until your deportation can be
arranged. All assets will be taken from you.
    * * * * * * * * *
    *Too strict ?*

*The above laws are current immigration laws of MEXICO*!

These sound fine to me. NOW, how can we get these laws to be America's
    Immigration Laws?

Excellent Bobby! Those are excellent Immigration laws. I also like what Arizona is doing. Maybe if the tough Arizona Governor became President then she would make the necessary changes.

Got a link for that BBC article? I could not find anything on their site. A google search indicates it is a forwarded email. Sounds suspicious cause most of those are pure crap.

Yeah, its all that Obummer's fault. You would never see such problems under W. By golly, he'd put on that aviator suit again and flowd down there his self to take care of it. Mission accomplished baby. Any illegals that were found here after that, why they'd be sent hunting with old Cheny. And you know old bubba Clinton wouldn't put up with any of that illegal migratin crap. No sir. He would have been there at the border insisting that if they did not bring fat chicks and cigars, y'all gotta go home. Don't get the message, well here is Al Bore to lecture you on it. And Bush I, nope, read me lips, not gonna happen, wouldn't be prudent and all. Might even eat some Japanese food and puke on them or something. And if they made the mistake of bringing any brocali, they'd be forced to watch several episodes of Murphy Brown with Qualye. That woulda showd them. And god forbid they try entering the US illegally under Reagan. Ole' Ronny was a manly man who woulda showd them. Yes sir rea bob, he'da rounded up the posse and headed on down to old Mexico his self and showd them illegals who was boss. Scaret them all he would have. He'd been yelling, Mr Gorbochev, tear down that wall and rebuild it here. Nancy probably woulda joined him too. Now kiddies, just say no to illegals. Yep, illegal immegration was never a problem until this limp wristed librl got in the white house. Nar'y a one even thought about crossing the border before Obummer became president. Soon as he was sworn in, by golly, they just lined up at the border wanting some of that ole hope and change for themselves. Yet more proof that he really is a muslim and not born in the US.

Thankyou Andrew for making us sound like a bunch of Beachnut chewing hillbillies, appreciate that. As usual the lib side points out what ''W'' would or would not have done, lol. What we are saying is WHY IS your guy and his stupis lapdog Eric Holder making threats of federal lawsuits against Gov Brewer and Arizona for trying to do the right thing. 78% of America in various polls back what Arizona is doing with complete support. Whose side is this adminstration on, America's, or what will get them re-elected?? Nobody said illegals wasn't a problem before Barry, because it was, but now maybe with some support from our Government somebody is really trying to do something about it, but Barry and that MORON Holder is fighting it tooth and nail.

We all can't sing campfire songs all the time, sometimes people in power have to be tough.

Andrew.......WHO CARES what the other past presidents did.

I wanna know what the OBAMUNISTS are going to do.

They have failed in pretty much everything they have tried. Instead of blaming BUSH, Clinton, Bush, Reagan, Carter, and everyone else down the line, how about some of that freakin CHANGE your chosen one promised.

Instead, you and EVERYONE LIKE YOU continue to blame all that came prior.

You know what.......it is George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams......those SOB's are the ones that SCREWED up this country.

Stop blaming everyone else.....the Obamunists need to get their HEAD our of their butts, and LEAD......simply LEAD.

    Later,

Not my intent at all. Just pointing out how some on the right act like this is a recent issue that has only come about since Obama has been in office. It isn't. Its been a problem through a number of presidents, both repub and dem. Immigration is a federal issue, not a state issue. That is the problem with the Arizona law. I think we are all in agreement that illegal immigration is a real issue that needs to be addressed, and fixed. It is broke right now. Even Obama has noted that we are failing on this point. Ordered 1200 national guard troops to the border as a short-term fix. I don't recall previous presidents doing anything to address the issue either. There has to be several things done. One is that we have to stop businesses from hiring illegals. If there are no jobs, you limit reasons to come here. Second, you have to stop people from crossing the border illegally. Trying to do this state by state will make things more difficult in the long run. Simplified, but you get the idea.

Again, the original post was a forwarded email. Probably 99% of the forwarded emails I have read over the last several years have been either complete bs, or the truth is stretched so far as to make them worthless. I get tired of seeing crap like this and people treating the bs as gospel. Thus my saterical response.

    Re: Got this off BBC

This comment from that article made me LOL!!!

"Mexican citizens will be afraid to visit Arizona for work or pleasure out of concern that they will be subject to unlawful police scrutiny and detention," Mexican citizens are welcome if they come in legally!

I'm sorry but anything the corrupt Mexican gubment or reps say is laughable. I honestly don't think this is about the law it's about politics.

An inconvenience to some folks is nothing compared to the burden that their country and our federal gubment has put on us! I also think (I don't know because I have not read the law) that it's being blown way out of proportion. The lawyers that I have seen comment about this law say it's not written as it's being portrayed by several news sources and the people who oppose it....go figure.

I expect the Feds to turn this into a dog fight since they have so much to lose in the upcoming elections. They are backed into a corner and they have made their stand on this issue very public. They don't care what the public opinion is they will do what they want.

    Check this out...

    Re: Got this off BBC

I don't think anybody took that one at total gospel, I mean read it closely, lol. It was as Don said humerous. Also nobody said that former administrations were'nt also floundering on this huge issue. However undermining and smearing what Arizona is trying to do is making matters worse and empowering the illegals to actually believe Obama and his people are on THEIR side. Eric the MORON Holder even made reference to Gov Brewer as uneducted because she had never been to college, big frickin deal and that's relevant how???? I work with educated idiots everyday, college doesn't make everybody smarter it makes some people dumbasses.

If Arizona ''STATE'' law could gain hold and make headwave and get Government support, maybe, just maybe it would catch fire throughout the country and we could move forward in a positive direction in solving this huge complex issue, that's all I'm saying. And as long as Barry and his lapdog keep getting on TV and Meet The Press and trash what they are trying to do it only destroys it's possibilties.

    Re: Got this off BBC

Passing new laws may make some people feel good because they're "doing something," but we're not going to make any headway against illegal immigration until we have a secure border. The Arizona Senator in the link DJD posted points out himself how much worse Arizona's problem has gotten now that California and El Paso have erected better fences. It doesn't make any difference what the laws are here, people are going to stream across the border until we make it physically impossible, or at least very difficult, for them to do so. And after watching that interview, I'm even more convinced than ever that if the intent of this law is really what its proponents say it is, namely, removing restrictions on police officers from doing their jobs, then it's totally unnecessary in the first place. All it does is tell police officers they have to do their jobs. They already have the authority to check immigration status, where reasonable cause exists. All this law does is tell them to do so. So it's a law that tells law enforcement that they have to enforce the law. Doesn't that seem a little ridiculous? If Phoenix and other cites have "sanctuary policies" in place, where cops are told NOT to enforce the law, then aren't those policies themselves illegal? I mean, they're policies, not laws. Getting rid of THOSE is the answer, not passing new laws.
