Heading to Dale this weekend. Just curious what's bending rods lately?

Went Saturday night and didn't have a lot of luck...but they are usually thumpin a dark punisher hair jig this time of year.

I typically fish early morning and evening cause I'm camping with the kids and the lady. I just don't dig leaving them by themselves with mom while I'm out on the lake at 1AM

Full Moon July 26th so it is time for the Avacodo and Orange Hair jig with Avacado trailer fished around the rocks and black shale plus just the SPECIAL COLOR 1 OZ Single Colorado Spinnerbait fished on the flats around the points with chunk rock.

do smallies prefer hair jigs over regular jigs? If so is there a reason or is that just the way it is?
