Sounds like either white bass or l/m bass chasing shad but sounds like what i would call a scattered jump. When you see a bunch of bass busting in a area thats what i would call {in the jumps} but sometimes a single bass or a few schooling bass will chase shad to the surface. Either way when you see this throw these baits to that area as soon as you can--spoon,top water popper,fluke,shad rap,little george,white curly tail grub. Try to get to that spot a.s.a.p after you see fish busting the top if not the shad and bass will be on the move. I would have a rod rigged with one of the lures mentioned above and within close reach when this happens. Hope this helps,good luck jc
