Ky River Conditions?

Can anyone update me on the river conditions at, or around, the Cummins Ferry Campground
area? Have the recent rains muddied the water? If anyone has fished this area for bass or catfish, a report would most appreciated. Thanks, in advance, for any information you care to share.

I was wondering the same thing. If anyone has any info please let me know. I trying to go to the Tyrone area this weekend. If it is up and muddy, I am thinking of heading to Taylorsville. Thanks for the help.

Don't know how much this helps, but the Frankfort pool is up, muddy and full of debris.

Fished that pool Monday-VERY slow to say the least. The level is tailing off and the water is still cloudy but is clearing somewhat. The fishing can't be any worse than it was Monday!

I am not trying to hyjack this thread but thought I throw in my two cents, I fished below lock two tues and wed, tues day me and dad fished six in morning till about one pm and the water was clear, and we caught drum and channels off of crankbaits on the rocky shoreline. wed I went by myself and fished the creeks and laydowns and made a run to lock 2 water was on the rise and the only fish I caught was a few smallies and some channels off of the rocky shorelines. Both days I fished plastics, topwater lures, and spinnerbaits and the only producers was shad color crank bait. I just wanted to say thankyou to whoever marked the sumerged timber with two liter bottles and some string, that is saving someone a lower unit or hole in the boat. So if anybody sees them take warning because there is something there.
