Well got the water pump in the motor,,took it to salt River at the ohio and tryed her out. She ran great,,comes out of the hold great and quick,,put my GPS on it tonight so I`ll find out the true speed,,,it has a 24 pitch Raker on it,,but WOT is only 4500,,,think i need to come down to a 21 maybe,,,or a 23,,,what do you all think?

sure did,,,that was one of the first things i put on the boat,,,now just got to get the chip...lol

If its a 18' champ with a xp150 it should pull the 24 raker, thats all we used to run on our gt150 johnsons (same engine) maybe your throttle isnt opening wot?

Well it`s a 18.3 champ super V,,,i`ll check the throttle,,it`s a strong motor,,comes right up out of the hole great...thanks V

HEY VMAXX! man you was right,,i went and looked at the throttle and there was a primer hose had got behind it and wouldn`t let it open up...thanks!
