There are some small bodies of water in Washington Co. John Hay, Spurgeon Hollow, Delaney Park, that are TM only. There is another lake right off the second Seymour exit going North that I've never fished but is a couple hundres acres. There are also the State Forest lakes in Henryville. I can't speak for the bass fishing in any of them, but they fit what your looking for. You could definately fish Patoka as mentioned around Osbourne and Walls.
That lake off exit 55 is called cypress... Its probably 50-75 acres at the most... it looks bigger than it is from the road... I actually went there saturday with my cousin and a friend. Place was loaded with Gar. I saw multiple gars over 4 ft. I need to try the big lake in state forest at henryville. The first two are tiny and while one of them has a boat ramp its practically a large pond.
