I have the 797 and I will tell you that you will be highly disappointed if you don't shop around and buy the 8", they offer allot more stuff for the larger units and the screen is so much easier to read!!!! Listen to experience... please

This might surprise you, but check out Amazon's pricing on the 'Birds. You might save some $$$.

The 798SI Combo w/internal GPS is currently selling there for $893.82 w/free shipping. The savings isn't quite as good with the 898....about $65 or so.

My 788ci is for sale. Everything works like out of the box. Quad beam transducer for TM is included. Can be used in bilge. Not the dual beam that came with the pack because I had it epoxied in the bilge. The 788ci was bought new in April and latest software updated. The quad beam transducer is month old. 550 shipped.
