Going to Douglas this weekend. Family outing, wife to Gatlinburg me at lake. Both will be happy. Any info on Douglas would be appriciated, will be my first time there.

watch your depthfinder and try to stay in the channel..it may not be too bad this time of year but I know when the water is down it can be HHAAAIIRRRYYYY!!!!

Sorry I don't have any fishing tips, although a Cherokee Craw color jig from Cumberland pro should be a good choice...works on cherokee anyway...find the steep points where the channel is close...good luck. and be safe!

Put in at the free launch at the dam. Fish up the right fork of the lake( Flat Creek). Focus on main lake points with watermelonseed plastics in 10'-20' of water. If at all possible fish at night,12-6 or so. There will more than likely be a tourney or two fishing those hours as well so be safe!
