Well my buddy Heath has had a rough go of it lately. Poor fishing, more boat problems than you can shake a stick at, broke down on Kentucky not once but twice in the last 2 weeks. So what's a friend do? I see the rain out the windows all day while sitting through boring windows. I give Heath a call and we run to bluegrass. We both think with the rain it would be a good night. Nope terrible! We caught 2 fish. One 10" and a nice 4.5#. Nothing in the grass at all. Biggin was at 15' on a 10" worm. I had to take a picture for proof he could catch fish.

it almost makes sense maybe... I live on the other side of the state and the cold front came through early AM... Id have to assume it was past evansville by then.
Correct me if Im wrong (for my own personal knowledge if anything) but arent the bass suppose to get lock jawed after the cold front passes for a bit?
That can be a bunch of bologne. It just depends on the time of the year and the conditions prior to the front pushing through. Fish are most likely harder to get to bite during a cold front because you usually have high skies and fish will hold closer to cover and not chase baits like they will do with lower-light situations.it almost makes sense maybe... Cold fronts don't do a whole lot in the summer imo unless you get bluebird skies like Steve said. Now cold fronts in spring and fall can be tough if the water temps change a lot.
where is this lake at me and my dad wanted to go out there for somethin different thought it might be fun dont have to tell me any honeyholes just how to get there i live close to new albany
Just north of Evansville east of I164 on Bonnville Newharmony Rd. There will be maps of the area at the main lake (Bluegrass)
