I was down on the markland pool near Warsaw last Saturday morning. Water temp 84. Water clarity not great but OK. I like to fish the currents where creeks meet main river channel this time of year and usually have luck using spinnerbaits and lipless cranks.
After 3 hours, not a single bite. Tried in a few creeks, no luck. Tried some rock on the main river, no luck. I'm sure if I stuck with it all day I would have gotten into 1 or 2 dinks but I gave it up at 10am and went home.

Boon,Next weekend, a buddy and I are going to hit the river for the weekend. What are the best species to target this time of the year, and where would be some good places to try. Any advice, and or tips would be greatly appreciated as we are both lake/creek/stream fisherman.
Thanks in advance.
Sorry I couldn't help this time, ain't been out for awhile. But, in the future, I'd be more than glad to tell you exactly where, when, and how I got on teh fish. Don't both me a bit cause I ain't got no honey hole that I "own". I just borrow parts of the river from time to time. And besides, what is the likelihod that given I tell you where, when, and how, that you'd be sitting in that exact spot next time I got there? And if you are there, most I'd ask is you don't gte stingy and let me share the spot with ya. Fair nugh?
