Giving credit where credit is due Skeet had a great SPRING. With exeption of the classic ,oh yea where did he finish????? hummmm BUT when the fishing got tough (HOT SUMMER) were was the golden boy????? Back stage crying like a girl..... OK don't get me wrong that golden boy can fish . He has proven that. But at the begining of the year they ALL know KVD is coming, Regardless of post season ,mid season , turkey season, deer season, squirrel season, dove season (did I leave one out ,lol) KVD is coming . He will be there to contend with in the end

You continue to miss the point, If they didn't shrink the lead going into the post season and adjust the points, only Evers had a shot at beating Skeet and KVD would have been somewhere in the top 10. They changed the points, much like Nascar does. I think KVD is the greatest bass tournament angler to live, but you cannot with a straight face tell me he would have won had BASS not rearragned the points going into the post season.

Yep same in Nascar I didn't like it the first few years they did that because I felt it hurt the consistant team who might have a several hundred point lead.
I think Kenseth won the last year before they started the Chase points and he didn't win a race or maybe only one. I remember people saying that his safe driving was the reason they wanted to spice up the racing at the end or the year.
I think the rules were to be followed by everyone and if you lose you lose. If you don't like the rules pick up your ball and go home. There will be a line behind you wanting to take your place.

In my opinion the post season points screw job is just as stupid as FLW zeroing the weight after the first two days. I have a buddy that got screwed in the 2004 stren series championship because of this. On the co-angler side the guy that won was in 9th place after day 2. The weights zeroed and because that guy caught a bigger bag on the final day he won. Never mind total all 3 days together Earl would have won by over a pound.

Also H.C. Sumpter lost because of this format.

LOL you should have seen how much money that cost Kevin Wirth when he was fishing FLW! Only about $300,000.

dropping anglers' first two days weight isn't smart either...much like messing with the points. that is just my opinion and it is ok to disagree.
