Brett will make up for the happenings with the Vikings misfortunes as of late...(ie. losing his No. 1 WR, Rice for the next 6 or 7 games). Once again Brett will shut-up all critics for at least for a night! He will have over 250 yards passing and at least 2 passing TD's! Vikings 27 - Saints-24
Man I hope your right. I can't stand the Saints! They have become some symbolic group that stands up for all the problems that the state endures.

I don't think they started it (prolly ESPN) but they are running with it for sure. Gag! They are a football team! I really hate the spin that gets put on making these guys supermen and football gods...play the dang game!!

I like Favre although I'm tired of his antics.

OOPS! Nice job Brett! "Down goes Frazier!" Same amount of td's as there was INT's.

NOT! How about 15-27 for 171 yards a TD and of course his most patented pass, and interception. Also had a QB rating of 71.7.

Compare that to Drew Brees who went 27-36 for 237 and 1 TD. No interceptions and a qb rating of 101.3.

That's ok...You know, I do believe Brett was going to retire...but came back after the coach and players asked him to return for another year; so it showed that his timing with his recievers was off a bit; not being involved in pre-season practices showed. This will greatly improve though...so will the rest of the offence. Brett had a good first half...great shots up the middle for the drive..and TD. He took a very hard shot that would have taken most QB's to the bench for a spell...but not Brett. He did show his age in the 4th...but his endurance and speed will get better. Im not worried;...was suprised it was such a low scoring game. But if I had to pick one QB...for one night...one game vic...I'd still go with Brett over the rest. I look for these two teams to play again...

If I had to pick one QB for one game when I need a victory, I would pick someone who hasn't ended the last three seasons by throwing an interception to end a drive. Of course, that is just me and I tend to be one of those malcontents that thinks the score on the big bright board with all the lights actually means something!
