My buddy and I were talking about the things we caught. He said he caught a large mouth bass that was 30 inches long, & weighed 25 pounds. I said, I did better than that. I was fishing at the old stone quarry one day, and I hooked on to something. I fought it for about an hour, & when I got it up it was an old lantern. I scraped off the bottom, & there was a date, it was 1890. When I really looked, it was still lit. Well I told him, if he would cut down the size of that bass, I would blow out that lantern.
