    Re: redemtion on cr

i just got back today from kendall today. my dad, my 3 yr old son and i have been camped there for the last 4 days. maybe you saw us? tracker boat, gray colorado truck?

we floated from the dam down close to the arch several times a day. caught tons of trout (brown and rainbows-several in the 3-4 lb range), walleye (all non-keepers), white bass, sun fish and one 5lb cat right up on the wall on the generator side.

we tied up against the dam wall (lake side) tues night and fished for stripers under lights. we never could get the shad to come up and consequently did not catch a dern thing.

we were in a motor home with ac! thank god because the heat was unbearable at times. then, last night after the rain....we were all in fleece jackets on the river. the fog was so thick we had to yell to the bank fishermen to find the ramp (10 ft visibility...period)!

i can tent camp in the extreme cold anytime but you guys are far braver than i to face this heat in a tent

Takeing my jon boat tomorrow. Like I say I'm down there every day working so Friday afternoon I'm putting boat in at dam. From what i saw current not flat don't think I would want to paddle back. Let u know what river like tomorrow nite when i get back whatever time that may be.
