    A real delicacy is the walleye cheeks, they are like scallops and with a little practice you can pop them out with a tablespoon.

    PRO V LE is 100% correct- not much better than the cheeks off of a walleye!!!

    My kids fight over the cheek meat. Usually gone before I can finish cooking. Is it me or does the cheek meat seem sweet?

    tried the batter/coating recipe this evening on some walleye fillets....nice, cant wait to try it on bluegill.

    hey man, I'm glad you liked it. I think it would be good on any kind of fish. I only eat walleye,striper and a few catfish. and it's great on those.
