Looks the same as my Ohio river walleyes but don't think I have pictures of any looking like that.If we could post pictures on here would post one as they come out of the river.

Method of the catch? I prefer that view of walleye anyway!!!

FISH, ONYOUNS AND MATERS, PLUS CORN BREAD. Don't get much better!![]()
I just finished breakfast, but so what...seeing this picture tells me it's time for supper no matter what time of day it is!
Hey waterdog, they look really good!! If you don't mind, could you tell me what the batter was that you used? It looks like it is really good. Thanks, Bill
don't mind at all, and you will love it.... take a mixing bowl, and break 2 eggs, one cup 2% milk, 2 table spoons yellow mustard, 1 level teaspoon salt, 1 level teaspoon black pepper and mix well..... put your fish filets in the mixture..... and in another bowl, pour 1 cup corn meal, and 1 cup Idaho instant potatoe flakes and mix it together...... then pick the filet up out of the batter mix, roll it in the potatoe flakes..... and lay it in a big iron skillet, that has about 1/4 inch's of extra virgin olive oil in it.......make sure it's good and hot. let it fry until its brown on that side then turn and do the same on the other side.
I like to make walleye ceviche sometimes......http://i467.photobucket.com/albums/r...eneral/037.jpg the walleye is cooked over night in the fridge in lime juice http://i467.photobucket.com/albums/r...eneral/038.jpg http://i467.photobucket.com/albums/r...eneral/039.jpg http://i467.photobucket.com/albums/r...eneral/042.jpg http://i467.photobucket.com/albums/r...eneral/043.jpg served on tostadas w/ guac......Tasty on these 100 degree plus days
A real delicacy is the walleye cheeks, they are like scallops and with a little practice you can pop them out with a tablespoon.
