Fished from 6:30 to 10 am caught 18 bass between 2 of us with most being caught on buzz,no real big ones but 2 was pushing 4lbs,most fish caught in middle of coves with grass.Hope this helps somebody.

I hit it yesterday as well and had similar results. I wasn't expecting much for mid August but we whacked em pretty good. We caught them on deep diving crankbaits, a few on shaky heads, and a bunch on Carolina rigs after noon. After the big rain they really turned on for us. Gotta love the guys that don't understand that some people fish OFFSHORE. Had multiple occasions of boats running right over the spot I was fishing and one guy almost hit my marker bouy that was on the center of a hump. Good day for fish catching though
