Congrats Tim! Sounds like they were lucky to have you in their lives. Sometimes a good coach can be the difference in these kids having a chance in life.
Hey GA needs another Knowshon Moreno!!! uga uga! lol...

I have coached football and absketball for 19 years, having coached basketball on various levels including high school I had a team of 5th rgaders a few years ago that went undefeated in the city of Louisville. This was a school league and all the kids went to the same school. They are now Jr.s in high school and several of them are getting letteres from colleges.
That being said, my best athlete on that team and the most athletic kid I have ever coached was a kid named Anthony Wales. Anthony is a jr. running back for Louisville Central As a freshman he played every varsity game and scored several touchdowns including one in the state championship game (that they won). Last year as a sophomore he rushed for 1950 yards and 31 touchdowns. He opened his junior campaign on Friday night against Seneca. In a high scoring game he rushed for 339 yards and 4 touchdowns. He is being recuited by the three local schools UK, U of L and IU he is also hearing a lot from Georgia and Ohio St.
Here is the news paper article talking about the game:

Here is a of recruiting service highlight video of his sophomore season:

Don, that team of 5th graders could have beaten a lot of middle school teams. After all those years of coaching I learned one thing.....I was a much better coach when I had really good players.![]()
Update on Anthony Wales, last night he rushed for 392 yards and five touchdowns, bring his total yardage to 1621 yards and 11 rushing touchdowns. In addition, he has 1 touchdown and 143 yards receiving, and no telling how many return yards and TD's there.
Keep in mind he is putting numbers up against much bigger programs such as St. X, Male, Ballard, Manual and others. He is now getting letters from every major college football program in the country and still has another year of high school left. Keep an eye on this kid.
Looks like a stud...
Dude needs to be a WILDCAT!
LOL I hope not. To be honest, I am hoping that Strong has closed the leak of Central players to UK. No reason for Kragthorpe to not recruit Central, in his own backyard and the head coach played at Louisville! Glad he is gone.
You think Joker's going to call him tonight and see if he caught the final score of the UK vs #10 USC game? lol
GO CATS!
I wouldn't be suprised! What a nice win, I still can't believe the arrogance of Spurrier not kicking the field goal. Glad you guys finally sent him home with a big fat L!
Yeah, that was extremely arrogant....he can blame it on the assistants or blame it on Garcia throwing the ball to the inside, not the back corner....but regardless, should have took 3 and sent it into overtime. The whole stadium expected it...
Yeah... he is a ****... gave himself a game ball? what a diva... im glad we beat him... and actually like the fact that he gave us teh win... makes hime look even more stupid...
now we gotta break this **** Tennessee losing streak...
As for the player mentioned in teh OP, I have seen his stats and he is a freakin monster... he will do great at a college level without a doubt.
good luck to the kid, i saw him play when Central played Manual...Manual shut the kid down in the 2nd half. I saw a lot of arrogant loud mouth kids on Central's team who liked to rub it in as to if they made a big play after giving up 20 yards and getting burned.Update on Anthony Wales, last night he rushed for 392 yards and five touchdowns, bring his total yardage to 1621 yards and 11 rushing touchdowns. In addition, he has 1 touchdown and 143 yards receiving, and no telling how many return yards and TD's there.

But to be honest..a lot different running the ball against high school kids vs College men....I think this kid will go to a more proven school and not stay home in the State after next season, i.e USC, Ohio State, Florida..etc....
