Quick Barren River Lake Report

I'm sure I'm not telling you guys anything you don't already know, but just got back off the water and launched at Walnut Creek. Lake was up over the turn around and a lot of debris if you run towards Browns Ford. Spotty debris till you get past 31E Bridge and cleaner past that. Water was heavy stained to muddy... that is all!!! Have a good week! Tight lines!

The times I had my electronics on it was in the low to mid 80's, but I was in and out of coves a lot. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Speaking of being up in coves, what are those schools of bait in the shallows? Shinners? I was thinking a guy could throw a cast net and come up with a baitwell full!!!!

If its down that much since two weeks ago when i was down there, they will be up shallow in a few weeks... much sooner than i expected to have temps coming down like that... must be all the rain

Main lake temp was 85 last Wednesday afternoon after the rain. Had another shower come through Saturday Morning and Saturday night. I would say they temp is between 84-86 right now.

That figures since the BFL is coming up in a few weeks.
