Dumber than a Rock

I feel your pain Grumpy! I was at the cashier in a Brandenburg store and she asked me what time it was. I said " There's a clock right in front of you." She replied " I know but I can't tell time on that type of clock."

That kind of thing scares me, a whole lot more than the idea of Muslims building a mosque near ground zero does. If Islam is any threat to the US (which I don't believe it is), it's one we're capable of dealing with, at least in the short term. But the threat posed by an uneducated populace might well bring us down over the long haul.

It's funny how years ago when we installed our
systems in some of these elementary schools we actually had to install digital clocks. Alot of the men on site joked about how we were just adding to the problems of kids having it to easy and not having to learn to read an analog clock.
Now most if not elementary schools we do have analog clocks.
