Sometimes topwater fishing is not so fun!

Once hooked a snake on a popper in Elkhorn right by the bank, didn't see him there and he struck at it when it landed about 2 inches form the bank. Thankfully the **** thing went into its hole by the bank and I broke the line. Didnt want to have to take a snake off the hook while standing in the water!!

Two years ago my son and I were fishing artificial frogs over the moss beds when an owl came out of no where and grabbed by sons frog. He hit the freespool and let the owl fly off with the frog. The owl flew up into a tree and chomped on the frog for about 30 sec. than dropped it to the grown. No harm to the owl or bait.
